Leading experts and world-renowned lecturers, architects and designers from Europe, the region and Serbia, authorities in complex areas of sustainable architecture, energy efficiency, green building, use of environmentally friendly, but also classical technologies and materials, as well as application of various systems for all types renewable energy sources, will present their projects and experiences at the First International Congress SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE – ENERGY EFFICIENCY in Serbia. A significant segment of the Congress will be dedicated to bioclimatic and energy efficient rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing buildings, as well as the possibilities of using wood and recycling materials. During two days of interactive lectures, videos and exhibitions, the uniqueness of the approach in designing sustainable architecture will be presented, in theory and practice.

Speakers at the First International Congress SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE
– ENERGY EFFICIENCY are the authors whose projects we have heard, watched and read about in the professional literature as examples of good practice. They are people who are at the top of the world architectural scene, who open new paths in architectural creation, and their experience encourages and inspires young architects, designers and artists and directs them to new possibilities in their architectural and artistic expression.
Among them are the winners of the most significant recognitions and awards who, with their authorial achievements, theoretical concept and work, have determined the importance of a sustainable, multidisciplinary and integral approach in architectural design.
The congress will also be attended by workshop leaders from abroad and assistants from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. Over 300 designers, architects and experts from tangential fields are expected to participate, as well as a large number of author teams.
