Since 1999, he teaches in many universities such as: Polytechnic of Milan, University of Pavia, IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) ), Domus Academy.
2011–2013 Training Coordinator (with ARCò) of the Master “Smart Buildings and Sustainable Design” IED, Turin.
2007–2012 Member of the Scientific Committee of “Paesaggi Straordinari” Master at Polytechnic of Milan and NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti).
He is currently holding the course of Architectural and urban design at Polytechnic of Turin.
Since 2004, he works on several research projects at Polytechnic of Milan, University of Pavia, NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), University of Cagliari, RSE (Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico).
He has been the president of ARCò – Architettura e Cooperazione since 2012, where he lead activity of design and applied research in the area of sustainable architecture within a context of humanitarian emergency.
Together with ARCò he produced and exposed researches for the 13th and 15th Biennale of Architecture in Venice. ARCò’s works have been featured on many publications and architectural journals, and have received international awards such as the Young Talents Renzo Piano Foundation Award and the Holcim Award for Sustainable Construction.
