BIOGRAPHY

Vladimir Lojanica, was born in 1969 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade in 1995. He attended postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, majoring in Architectural Organization of Space and postgraduate course in art studies in the field of architectural and urban design. Since 1996, he has been employed at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. Vice Dean for Teaching at the Faculty of Architecture in the period from 2009-2012. He teaches Housing and Studio Project at the Department of Architecture. Since 2015, he has been the head of the Department of Architecture. Since 2021. he is the Dean at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade.

In 2004, he founded an independent architectural practice, the architectural studio Proaspekt, within which he regularly and successfully participates in public national and international architectural competitions, where he won numerous awards (including 10 first places). He is the author of a series of projects and realized facilities in the country and abroad.

He has won several significant professional awards, among which stand out  the Annual Award for Architecture of the Association of Architects of Serbia for the most successful work in all fields of architecture realized in 2007 for the complex of the Holliday Inn Hotel and Expo Hall XXI in Belgrade, as well as the award of the 37th Salon of Architecture for the realized project of the  Winery Acumincum, Stari Slankamen.

Along with architectural and urban design, he published works and texts in numerous monographs and professional and public publications.

He is a member of various national professional associations and advisory bodies.

The works of Vladimir Lojanica have been exhibited and published in domestic and international professional congresses and exhibitions, including two exhibitions within the national selection at the Architectural Biennale in Venice.
