Over the past sixteen years, Borina Andrieu has developed the presence of Wilmotte & Associés in France, as well as in all major strategic economic cities in Europe, Brazil, Russia, the Middle-East and Asia, contributing to the transmission of Jean-Michel Wilmotte’s work around the world. Multilingual and with a strong knowledge in diplomatic and international trade relations, Borina Andrieu has built an extensive worldwide network. Her understanding of strategic considerations concerning legal and budget issues in large scale architectural projects allows her to actively consolidate the decisions of W&A in order to meet the needs of prestigious private and public clients.
She has been involved in numerous emblematic creations for Jean-Michel Wilmotte, including the Russian Orthodox Spiritual & Cultural Center, the world’s biggest start-up campus “Station F”, the Palace Hotel Lutetia and the Sciences Po Campus in Paris, the Vista Palace in South of France, the headquarters of Google and JCDecaux in London, the Ferrari Sporting Management Center in Maranello, an ecological park in Baku for the 2015 European Games, the New Greater Moscow Urban Design, the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha and the Centre of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent to name just a few examples.
Today, Wilmotte & Associés is an architectural practice with a strong international reputation, actively working in 28 countries. Created in 1975 by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the practice’s activities include architecture, interior design, museography, industrial design, and urban planning. With a cosmopolitan network, it has offices in France, the United-Kingdom, Italy, and South Korea, bringing together more than 280 employees of 31 different nationalities.
