MABEL MIRANDA

Born in Lima, Peru, on May 8th, 1979. She lives in Belgrade, Serbia, since 2020. She lived and worked in Paris from 2002 until 2020. She lived in Beijing in 2011-2012. She was a Site architect in Tokyo in 2010-2011.
Architect of the Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture de Paris since December 2003, she also did post-graduate program in Urbanism and Ecological Strategies (2014) and later in 2020, the Beyond Smart Cities program of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2020). Awarded in 2004 to integrate the French Architectural Association (N 048751) she is also a member of the French Architecture to the Export Association (AFEX). She previously worked in prestigious offices (Jean Nouvel, Herault Arnod, Paris Airport, Nicolas Michelin). As a lecturer and recognized specialist, Mabel has participated in many conferences and events: At the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine (Paris), BelExpo (Belgrade), several conferences at the Peruvian Association of Architects (Lima), featured in journals and international publications, especially around her work on taxidrones and electrical aviation (Forbes, Economist, Le Figaro, Politika, Novosti and several TV media). Mabel is the 1PAX architects’ CEO and founder. The branches of the office are placed in 4 strategic positions around the world: Paris, Belgrade, Lima, and the latest one in the US. 1PAX has been recognized by the city of Paris as an innovative start-up, holding the labels Paris Innovation and French Tech, since its possesses two original patents and innovative projects.
