PAULO MERLINI

Paulo Merlini was born in November 1981 and graduated in Architecture from Universidade Lusíada do Porto in 2006. In the last year of his degree, he studies in Italy at the Università degli Studi di Firenze. In that same year, with an World Atlas under his arm, he decided to travel the world to get to know classical and important works of architecture. After this trip around the world, Paulo Merlini creates todays PAULO MERLINI architects personal motto and creative process: US IS MORE.

In 2008, Paulo starts a PhD at Coruna College with the theme “Light, the primordial material”.

In recent years, he has helped PAULO MERLINI architects to receive numerous nominations and awards, both national and international, from the most varied and recognised entities and brands. Not only that, the brand and its projects have been widely promoted by national and international media and have made the cover of some of the most prestigious international architectural magazines with some of its projects.
